Mafex ULV Applicators offer a user-friendly process thanks to low product volumes

Working method of the MAFEX process

The all-round wettability of the nodular surface is indispensable for fighting pests. The individual agent particles must cover the surface with the least possible distance between them. In order to achieve this even distribution, the available quantity of preparation must be dispersed in a multitude of droplets of an even size.

On the MAFEX device, approx. 30 million droplets are created from 1 ml of liquid by centrifugal force while also using a specially developed rotation disk – European patent No. EP 82/00041. The droplets are deposited evenly on the nodular surface by the vertical air flow created by the rotation disk,and by the gravity as well as turning and falling movement of the potatoes.
